Another reason to choose polyurethane resin as a top coat is its UV stability. Applied to epoxy resin, it prevents yellowing and retains the main coating’s colour intensity. For this reason, polyurethane resin is also used to coat outdoor stone carpets. Its abrasion resistance makes it a good choice for floor coatings in your bathroom or kitchen. It also has a very high resistance to chemicals and is insensitive to acids, alkalis and salt solutions.
