Advantages of PU Resin
Polyurethane resins are an excellent choice when it comes to sealing floors and other surfaces. They can be applied to almost any surface and are one of the highest-quality synthetic resins for good reason. PU resins impress with their numerous advantages: they are scratch-resistant, UV-resistant and are easy to apply and, if necessary, to refurbish. They provide very good impact and sound insulation and are therefore often used as floor coating in office buildings, schools or hospitals.
Since PU resins are light and UV resistant, it can also be used outdoors without any problems. You do not have to be afraid of possible yellowing or fading.
How much product do I need?
The consumption volume of each polyurethane resin is different. Start by measuring the area you wish to cover and easily select the quantity per sqm on each product page. We recommend applying 2 coats of PU.
How do I apply PU coating?
Start by cleaning your surface thoroughly. Remove stains, dirt and dust. Fill in holes and unevenness. This will create a clean and smooth surface that will guarantee you a perfect result. Mask off the edges and any parts that are not to be coated. Then, mix and apply the polyurethane resin according to the instructions for use.

How do I know which PU resin is the best one for my project?

How long can I keep the resin after opening?
After opening, the unmixed polyurethane resin can be stored for up to 6 months. It is important to tightly close the bottles after use and store them in a cool, frost-free, and dark space.
Once the resin A-component and hardener B-component are mixed it must be used immediately as a chemical reaction takes place, and it is not possible to store the mixture.
