2K PU Resin: Ultimate Protection for all Surfaces!
With our water-based, two-component polyurethane resin in gloss and matt, you can coat and seal your surfaces in no time at all. Simply roll on in two thin layers and you're done! The polyurethane resin protects your surfaces from scratches, water and chemicals. In addition, the resin is UV-stable, i.e., any yellowing of the material by UV rays is excluded. This makes the product particularly attractive for outdoor use, as well as light-flooded indoor areas with direct sunlight.

Play it safe with your health! EPODEX PU resin in gloss and matt are non-toxic (according to GHS06) and not hazardous to health (according to GHS08) according to the hazardous substance’s legislation of the EU and Switzerland. Our high-quality, water-based polyurethane resin is 100% solvent-free and, according to the recipe, contains no free, harmful bisphenol A (i.e., BPA-free). In addition, we completely avoid isocyanates, which can affect and damage the respiratory tract. A pleasant and safe processing is therefore guaranteed!

Don't compromise and choose the highest quality polyurethane resin on the market. This high-quality product should be applied at ambient and substrate temperatures between +15°C and +20°C.
Instructions for Use
Coating and Sealing with PU Resin
- Coat the surface with the PU resin.
- To do this, mix the PU resin (A) with the appropriate PU hardener (B) in the specified mixing ratio. PU glossy: 10:2 by weight (e.g.: 1kg A + 0.2kg B); PU matt: 10:1 by weight (e.g.: 1kg A + 0.1kg B). Optionally, you can add up to 20% water.
- Transfer the mixture to a paint tray and mix again. This way you make sure that resin (A) and hardener (B) mix completely.
- Apply the material thinly with a foam roller in a criss-cross pattern. To achieve an even finish, use our scraper grid to scrape off excess material before application. We recommend a layer thickness of max.150µm.
- The material can be walked on after approx. 20-24 hours and is completely chemically cured after approx.7 days.
Pro Tip: We recommend adding water to the PU resin when working at high ambient temperatures or when mixing a large quantity in order to avoid an orange peel texture. Please note that adding water increases the drying time and therefore curing time. Adding water to coloured PU alters the true colour and coverage, until the water has completely evaporated.
