Primer with PRIMER

  1. We recommend a working temperature of approx. 20°C.
  2. The surface should be dust-free, clean, and even. Level out holes, unevenness, and slopes in advance with levelling compound.
  3. Always start with our PRIMER.
  4. Mix the primer thoroughly and dye it with WB pigment.
  5. Pour the material into a paint tray after mixing.
  6. Roll the material onto the desired surface with a paint roller.
  7. Allow the primer to dry (approx. 8-12 hours).

Main Coating with EFFECT PAINT

  1. Use our EFFECT PAINT for a metallic brush effect.
  2. Mix the EFFECT PAINT with the supplied metallic pigment. We recommend a colour proportion of approx. 3%, e.g., 30g metallic pigment to 1kg EFFECT PAINT.
  3. Paint the material onto the primed surface.
  4. The paint is dust-dry after approx.5 hours.

Sealing with PU

  1. Coat the surface with the PU resin.
  2. Mix the resin A-component and the hardener B-component in a 2 to 1 mixing ratio (e.g. 1kg resin A-component with 0.5kg hardener B-component).
  3. Stir through the edge and bottom of the mixing cup as the material will settle there. Ideally, pour into a clean mixing cup and mix again until the mixture is streak-free. This ensures that the resin A-component and hardener B-component are completely mixed together.
  4. Pour the mixture into a paint tray and apply it thinly with a roller in a criss-cross pattern.
  5. Let the first coat cure and apply the second coat in the same way. We recommend applying the second coat after min. 6h but not more than 20h.

Pro Tip: Do not wear rubber-soled shoes while sanding, cleaning, after cleaning, or during the application of the 2K PU Topcoat, as rubber microparticles may cause an uneven finish. Rubber-soled shoes can be worn once the second coat of 2K PU Topcoat is cured. Wait until the 2K PU Topcoat is walkable (approx. 12 hours) before applying the second coat.
