        EPODEX 2K Tile Paint

2K Tile Paint is a water-based, odourless epoxy resin-based paint. It consists of a resin component and a hardener component. Both components are mixed together before application.

The 2-component system is ideal for painting wall and floor tiles. The hard-wearing paint is easy to apply thanks to its excellent adhesion properties.

Paint your wall and floor tiles yourself now at an affordable cost. Get tips on colour schemes and modern furnishings from our living room designer in the following video!

Instructions for use - STEP BY STEP

        1. Sand the tiles with sandpaper.
        2. Cover/tape off surfaces that are not to be covered with a plastic drop cloth and masking tape.
        3. Pre-clean and degrease tiles with the EPODEX PRE-CLEANER.
        4. Mix resin (A-component) with hardener (B-component) in a ratio of 5:1 (e.g., 500g resin: 100g hardener). We recommend mixing small quantities of approx. 600g per coat, as the material is very reactive and thickens quickly (pot life: 90min. at 1kg).
        5. Colour the material with the WB pigment supplied and pour it into the paint tray.
        6. Apply material in a criss-cross pattern and allow to dry (approx. 12 hours at 20°C).
        7. We recommend approx. two coats.
        8. If desired, retouch the tile joints with the EPODEX grout pen and ruler.

Super great color. The result is impressive. I love it.. The colors: Forrest Green and Light Gray. Despite thorough cleaning and removal of silicone (silicone leaves an oily film after removal), the paint did not adhere properly in some spots. There I touched up with a kind of primer (called paint on silicone) and applied the second coat. Then everything was permanently covered. I am completely satisfied.

The best paint of my life. I had to cover very bright and wild colors on the walls, and the white covered them immediately. It only showed through in one or two spots, and even there it was not noticeable. The colors are also very beautiful. We are very satisfied with it. It was a good choice.

To achieve that result, I simplified the work by using only 400ml of paint at a time, using a scale to measure the proportions between catalyst, paint, and color.

This is a really great product. The finish is superb but I agree with other reviews that there could be more detailed instructions especially about the ratios (doesn’t mention the amount of pigment for example). Also white spirit doesn’t really clean off the paint so unless you have something else, have brushes/roller heads you don’t mind throwing away. Customer service was very helpful when my order hadn’t arrived on time. Also it’s very hard wearing so far, but if you knock something with an abrasive or hard edge like a tool against it, it will mark. I would buy again.

I am very satisfied. After applying the 2K concrete paint, I was already incredibly impressed with the final result. Now I have also purchased the 2K tile lacquer and completed the last project. Our tiles laid in the 80s now look like new. The paint covers well, but two coats are definitely necessary. The result is impressive 😍

I painted the kitchen backsplash and it turned out really well.
