EPODEX PRIMER 2K

EPODEX PRIMER 2K is a highly abrasion-resistant and diffusion-open primer based on epoxy resin. The water-based 2-component system is ideal for priming non-absorbent surfaces, e.g. tiles, metal, etc. PRIMER 2K is odourless and free from harmful solvents.

Instructions for Use

1. Apply the product at min. 15°C to max. 30°C.
2. The substrate must be firm, dry, sound, clean, and free from substances that may prevent good adhesion (grease and oil). Roughen the surface to enable better adhesion.
3. Clean and degrease the surface with EPODEX PRE-CLEANER.
4. Mix resin (A) with hardener (B) in a ratio of 5:1 by weight (e.g. 5kg resin: 1kg hardener). Decant the mixture into a clean container and mix again.
5. Working time/pot life at 20°C: approx. 50 minutes, at 25°C: approx. 35 minutes. We recommend approx. two coats.
6. Wait at least 12 hours before applying the second coat.
7. Can be walked on after approx. 1 day. Fully loadable after approx. 7 days. Store between 10°C and 30°C.
