EP Allrounder - 2K Epoxy Resin Flooring for Roller Application (Water-Based)
2K water-based epoxy resin roller coating for priming and coating indoor floor surfaces (2-in-1 thin-layer system)
- Suitable for almost all substrates and applications such as garage floors, basements, industrial floors, commercial and production facilities, warehouses, etc.
- Applied as a roller coating for priming and coating
- Results in a satin finish. The floor texture remains visible after coating
- Consumption: primer approx. 250 g/m², coating approx. 350 g/m²
- Walkable after approx. 20 hours, fully load-bearing after approx. 7 days (at +20 °C)
- Scope of delivery: Resin component A and hardener component B + EP Colour Pastes

Instructions for Use
1. Prepare substrate
The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, sufficiently tensile and compressive strength, and clean. Dust, oil, grease and release agents must be removed in advance using suitable methods.
Application should be carried out at 10-30 °C (room and substrate temperature) and a maximum relative humidity of 70 %.
2. Apply EP Allrounder in two layers
- EP Allrounder is applied in two layers. For the primer (first layer), allow approx. 250 g/m²; for the coating (second layer), approx. 350 g/m². Fresh material must be mixed for each layer. At 20 °C, the second layer may be applied no earlier than 20 hours and no later than 36 hours after application of the first layer.
Important: If the second layer (coating) is not applied within 36 hours, the first cured layer (primer) must be sanded until it is completely matt (white haze) before the second layer can be applied. - For mixing, pour the complete contents of component B into the container of component A, add 4 × 100 g of EP colour paste and mix slowly and thoroughly with a drill for approx. 3 minutes at 300-400 rpm. Then add 1.5 litres of water and mix thoroughly again. Working Time: approx. 50 minutes at 20 °C.
- Immediately after mixing, pour the material onto the floor, spread it with a surface squeegee and then roll over it to achieve an even surface and retain the floor texture.
- During curing, protect from moisture, dust and mechanical stress. Walkable after approx. 20 hours, fully load-bearing after approx. 7 days (temperature-dependent).
3. Important Notes
Colour deviations are possible due to raw material variations. When using different batches, base components should be pre-mixed. UV radiation and weathering may cause slight colour changes. To avoid curing and mixing problems, components A and B must first be thoroughly mixed, then transferred into a second clean container and mixed again. Professional Tip: To Ensure Optimal Substrate Adhesion, We Recommend Preparing Older Floors in Particular by Shot Blasting or Diamond Grinding With Thorough Vacuuming.
Application & Substrates
EP Allrounder is suitable for almost all substrates such as concrete, cement screed, existing coatings (e.g. epoxy resin), mastic asphalt, as well as magnesite and anhydrite screeds and moisture-permeable floors. The coating is vapour-permeable, suitable for damp rooms, and compatible with underfloor heating. It is therefore also ideal for basement rooms. The total thickness (primer and main coating) is approx. 0.6 mm.

Properties & Limitations
The coating allows adjustable slip resistance of class R10 when using fine sand and is designed for indoor use. After curing, the surface has medium mechanical load-bearing capacity, i.e. it is suitable for pedestrian traffic of up to 1,000 people per day as well as forklift traffic, car traffic, etc. The material is not frost-resistant and is not suitable for flexible substrates. Because the coating is vapour-permeable, it is not suitable for sterile environments such as medical technology facilities. In these cases, we recommend using our EP Coating.

Danger
Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Causes serious eye damage. Contains epoxy constituents. May produce an allergic reaction. May cause damage to organs ( state all organs affected, if known) through prolonged or repeated exposure (state route of exposure if it is conclusively proven that no other routes of exposure cause the hazard).
