Instructions for Use
Mix PU Booster with PU Design
- Brieftly pre-mix the PU Design A-component. Then, add the entire contents of PU Design component B, 2 × 100 g of EP colour paste, and 400 g of additives into the container of PU Design component A and mix for approx. 40 seconds until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Add the PU Booster to the homogenous mixture and mix slowly with a drill for approx. 2 minutes at 300-400 rpm. Transfer the mixture into another mixing container and mix briefly again.
- Immediately after mixing, pour the material onto the floor and spread it evenly using a surface squeegee. Then go over it with a rubber squeegee to create the design.
- Protect the area from moisture, dust and mechanical stress during curing. Walkable after approx. 3 hours at 20 °C, fully loadable after approx. 4 days (temperature-dependent).
The PU Finish may be applied at 20 °C no earlier than 3 hours and no later than 36 hours after application of the PU Design.
Important: If PU Finish is not applied within 36 hours, the cured layer of PU Design must be sanded until it is completely matt (white haze) before the PU Finish can be applied.

Important Notes
Overdosing the PU Booster can lead to a loss of strength or sticky surface. Underdosing can prolongs the curing time. Never use at temperatures below 15 °C or above 25 °C. The incorporation of air caused by excessive mixing time must be avoided. Colour deviations are possible due to raw material variations. For different batches, base components should be pre-mixed. UV radiation and weather influences may cause slight colour changes.
Application & Substrates
PU Booster is particularly useful at lower temperatures, such as around 15 °C, where curing normally slows down. It supports the reaction process, helps the material cure reliably, and reduces waiting times until the floor is walkable or recoatable, allowing the floor to be used sooner.


Properties & Limitations
When used in the recommended mixing ratio, PU Booster reduces the curing and recoating time of PU Design from about 16 hours at 20 °C to around 3 hours. It speeds up installation without shortening the working time and without affecting the mechanical strength or chemical resistance of the flooring system.
